Dive Directory terms and conditions

In producing this site, Dive Directory has used information supplied by the Operators providing the various goods and/or services (Products). In supplying this information to you, Dive Directory is acting as the agent of such Operators. Irrespective of any measures taken by Dive Directory to ensure the information contained in this site is accurate at the time of publication, Dive Directory disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of anything misleading, false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors, misdescription and all associated disappointment, missunderstanding, loss, expense, damage, inconvenience, delay, death, shock, illness or injury, however caused.

Dive Directory does not control the manner in which Products featured within this site are provided. Dive Directory disclaims and will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply of such Products, including negligence of us or an Operator, withdrawal, cancellation or failure to provide a Product, delay, any variation in the Product, the provision of substitute Products or a change in the Operator. Pictures which appear on this site are provided as a guide only.

Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice. All prices are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax. Unless indicated otherwise, prices do not include transport from your home port to holiday destination and return, items of a personal nature, meals, transfers and existing or proposed taxes and government charges. Any amendment to your booking is subject to the approval of the relevant Operator. Any approved change to your booking may incur an amendment fee in addition to any fees imposed by the Operator.

Reservations cannot not be held or confirmed until monies have been received. Cancellation fees will be charged if you cancel your reservations regardless of the reason for cancelling. It should be noted that some Operators' cancellation conditions vary and may be as high as 100% of monies paid. Adminstration fees will be charged in the event of failed dive medicals or any unforseen medical conditions that may arise at the last minute restricting person/s from travelling. These adminstration fees also apply in the event that a dive/tour operator cancels trip due to any unforseen circumstances. Dive Directory strongly recommends taking out travel insurance which cover cancellation fees due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Privacy Policy

Diversden Travel recognises that the privacy of customer information is paramount.

Customer Information
All customer information requested is required by us to process your request. We may collect information about customers such as name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card details. We may use this information for the purposes of the services we provide.

Protection of you personal information
At Diversden Travel, authorised staff only can access your personal information. We take all reasonable efforts to protect personal information from unauthorised access or disclosure. We maintain physical security over our paper and electronic storage devices. We will securely destroy personal information if it is no longer required by us or for the purpose of legal requirements.

 

Deep Sea Divers Den and Taka

Deep Sea Divers Den reserves the right to change vessel, dive locations and price without notice.
Please note DSDD must receive at least 48 hours notice from you when choosing to cancel / reschedule a reservation. Cancellation refunds are not given within 48 hours notice. This includes factors beyond your control including medical problems, airline delays, bad weather, etc. - "Trade Practices Act 1974". Travel insurance is highly recommended. 

Cancellation fees:

Group Bookings : As per agreement with the marketing department

ReefQuest & OceanQuest:

  • More than 48 hours before course/trip commencement date: 10% of course/trip fee

  • Within 48 hours of course/trip commencement: Full course/trip fee

All DSDD bookings are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

TAKA:

  • 20% Cancellation fee 30 or more prior to departure

  • 50% Cancellation fee if within 30 prior to departure

  • 100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure
